Go to http://dglazkov.github.com/performance-tests/scroll-by-hiding-tables.html, click "Go", then check "Use compositing". The table immediately disappears (using r101705). The table reappears when you hit "Stop".

I am not able to reproduce this bug using testcase from Wayback Archive using Safari Technology Preview 155.
